More thoughts of family

I am “re-running” this poem about the ongoing and ever-changing life cycle of the family, as I think of my cousin Lyndal. He is ailing and will undergo surgery August 8th.

To my dear friends and fellow bloggers, if you have a moment, please keep him in your thoughts and prayers. I very much appreciate your good wishes, your faith, your friendship and your readership.

family–
a window opens
in streams the light
sunshine
warm breezes
the comfort of love

◊◊◊

careful–
a door opens
a whoosh of wind
chaos
frosty window
the winter’s snow

◊◊◊

slowly–
changing landscape
peaks and valleys
trees
that blossom
with natural beauty

◊◊◊

starlight–
the night brightens
in comes their love
whirl
of moonbeams
wrap around us

◊◊◊

family–
a window opens
in streams the light
sunshine
warm breezes
the comfort of love
