I have been writing poetry since I was 12, when my Sunday School teacher lost her husband suddenly. Naturally, she was devastated. I wrote a long poem (or at the time I thought it was “long”) that touched her heart, lifted her spirits and seemed to change the way she dealt with his death. It changed me, too. From then on, I understood the power of words to move both the reader and the writer.
I hope you enjoy these poetry collections! More will be added over time. In addition to these collections, my recent poetry can be accessed under the “Poetry” category on this blog.
